Community Guidelines

WarnPack works because people tell the truth about what happened to them. These rules keep it useful, safe and free of marketing.

What makes a great warning

Use this checklist. The best posts help a stranger recognise the scam in seconds:

  1. What happened - the trick, step by step.
  2. Where - the area or landmark, and the correct city tag.
  3. When - date and time of day, because scams change.
  4. How much - what was asked and what is fair.
  5. How to avoid it - what worked for you.

Add a photo or video if you have one. Your own experience is always the most useful.

Not allowed

No promotions. Do not advertise or recommend any hotel, cafe, restaurant, tour operator, driver, exchange shop, travel agency or product, and do not post referral links or discount codes. Posts and comments that look like marketing, paid reviews or "my friend's place is honest" endorsements will be removed and repeat posters banned. The only exception is a factual, first-hand warning about a business.

Report scams, not people

Describe the behaviour, the place and the price. If you must mention a business, state facts you witnessed yourself and avoid insults. Avoid posting the face or full name of private individuals. This protects you from legal risk and keeps the community fair.

How reporting works

Urgent concerns

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. To report child exploitation, write to safety@warnpack.com.
